Frenemies

What happens when two besties become full-blown worsties?

Avalon Greene rules the fashion scene at her sunny SoCal middle school with a diamond-clad fist, calling out classmates for their fashion-do's and most unfortunate clothes-pas. She's determined to host the social event of the season—a soiree in honor of her forever-friendship with Halley! Unfortunately, Halley's new look is one thing Avalon just can't celebrate. . . .

Halley Brandon is just back from art camp and can't wait to share her funky new style with her best friend, Avalon. But when Avalon cries fashion foul, Halley realizes her best friend's true colors may clash with her own. Has their ultra-fabulous friendship finally gone out of style?

From sharing custody of their puppy, Pucci, to drawing up a list of who gets which friends, Avalon and Halley discover what happens when you battle the person who knows everything about you—and isn't afraid to use your secrets to get what she wants.

Best friends. Worst enemies. Frenemies.

This book was C-U-T-E cute! I just loved it! The writing was so fantabulous and the author did a good job at writing the character's emotions! I loved the snarky comments that Halley and Avalon threw at eachother. I just wished that the author had showed how their relationship was before the blow-out. Halley and Avalon reminded me of my friends. My friends love fashion like they do and know how to put together amazing outfits! I say that everyone should read this very cool book! And I just loved the cut-out cover! I am so going to buy the sequel ASAP!

Marked

Enter the dark, magical world of The House of Night, a world very much like our own, except here vampyres have always existed. Sixteen-year-old Zoey Redbird has just been Marked as a fledgling vampyre and joins the House of Night, a school where she will train to become an adult vampire. That is, if she makes it through the Change--and not all of those who are Marked do. It sucks to begin a new life, especially away from her friends, and on top of that, Zoey is no average fledgling. She has been chosen as special by the vampyre Goddess Nyx. Zoey discovers she has amazing powers, but along with her powers come bloodlust and an unfortunate ability to Imprint her human ex-boyfriend. To add to her stress, she is not the only fledgling at the House of Night with special powers: When she discovers that the leader of the Dark Daughters, the school's most elite group, is misusing her Goddess-given gifts, Zoey must look deep within herself for the courage to embrace her destiny--with a little help from her new vampyre friends.

OMG!!!! I used to think that Twilight was the best series ever but I was so wrong!!! The Casts are the best writers ever! I can't believe that I didn't read this book before. Zoe was the strongest, more awesome, and coolest character ever. I wish I was her! She is my fave character ever. Move over Bella Swan! The vampyre legend in this book is soooo original. I've never read anything like this book! I cannot wait to read the next books. I'm glad that they're already out though! I def recommend this book to anyone! If you haven't read it, you better read it, like, now! The romance, vampyres, and awesome characters made this book so freaking great! Go buy it now!

ZOMG!

I've been away for the last few days (was in Arizona). Anywayz, I just caught up on all the celebrity gossip I missed while away. I cannot believe that Lindsay and Sam Ronson broke up!!!! I was like no way! They were the perfect lezzy couple. This sucks so much! I was rooting for them. I feel sad. I thought they would be 4ever y'know. It sucks so freakin' much.

Will go mourn their ended love now.

Vamps review

When the sun goes down, New York's true elite all head to one place: Bathory Academy, where the young ladies of the finest vampire families are trained in shapeshifting and luring their prey.

Bathory's reigning queen, Lilith Todd, is the daughter of a powerful vampire businessman, and she knows exactly what she wants from life. She wants to look beautiful for eternity and party till the sun comes up with her gorgeous boyfriend, Jules. And she doesn't want any New Blood upstarts standing in her way.

Enter Cally Monture, an unexpected threat from a trash zip code. When their first meeting leads to tragic results, Lilith is hungry for revenge.

ZOMG! This book was soooooo gooood!!!! I couldn't put it down at all! It was just amazing! I love vampires, especially the ones here! I could totally relate to all the characters and it has so many twists & turns that I didn't see some coming, at all. I'm so happy that this is the first book in a series! I'm happy that the second book is already out cuz that means that I can read it now. This is my new favorite series! Everyone should read it!

About Me

I'm a 15 year-old girl who likes to read books and who likes to collect books. I will be reviewing YA and MG books here soon, so look for that.

I like all genres. Some of my favorite are the Twilight series, the A-List series, and the Gossip Girl books.

I started this blog to post my thoughts on the books that I read. I hope that I get some readers soon (and comments as well)!
